About Us

IcySkyy was founded on our passion for frozen treats - namely Shave Ice. We want everyone to enjoy the deliciousness just as much as we do.  Growing up in a Japanese household, we have fond memories of eating yummy home made shave ice with varieties of flavors. We noticed shave ice syrup flavors can be somewhat inconsistent on the market in present day. Taking matters into our own hands, we developed and personally taste tested all of our flavors.  Our exquisite flavors have only the highest quality ingredients. We are confident that with our premium flavors, every bite of the ice will leave you wanting more.  Additionally, we also carry a wide array of supplies such as flower cups, machines, spoon-straws, mixing supplies, and machine parts. We only carry the best products, so you can be confident about your products and focus on growing your business and providing the best service to your customers.

We understand the joys and challenges of running a business. We believe Shave Ice is a business of happiness, and in that spirit, we continue to grow and evolve.  Our online store offers us continued opportunities to serve more customers in more ways with a fresh, relevant shopping experience. Flavor changes, shopping changes, our commitment to happy customers doesn't.

About Hawaiian Shaved Ice

Shave ice traces its history to Japan, where it is known as kakigōri and dates back to the Heian Period. It gained worldwide popularity after Japanese plantation workers immigrated to the Hawaiian islands and brought their traditional dessert with them.

They created shave ice from large blocks of ice by using their family heirlooms - Japanese swords!

After a hard day working on the plantations, the immigrant workers poured pineapple juice over the finely shaved ice to quench their thirst.

Fast forward thousands of years later, even though most of us don't use Japanese swords to shave ice, but we most definitely continue to enjoy the yummy dessert!

Hawaiian shave ice is often flavored with local ingredients such as guava, pineapple, coconut cream, passion fruit, li hing mui, lychee, kiwi fruit and mango
